Amecameca, Estado de México a 19 de noviembre de 2019.- Luego de que el Presidente Municipal Miguel Ángel Salomón Cortés entregara a los 11 nuevos elementos de la policía municipal sus respectivos uniformes, los exhortó a mantenerse cerca de la ciudadanía y les adelantó que atenderán también las delegaciones municipales.
El Munícipe hizo hincapié en que los nuevos elementos también harán una ardua labor en las 8 delegaciones municipales, ya que su perfil de proximidad social fortalecerá los trabajos de la Policía Delegacional.
Durante la entrega, realizada en las oficinas de la presidencia municipal, el Alcalde también reconoció a los familiares de los policías, “porque fueron 7 meses de capacitación y esfuerzo que se vio coronado con su graduación, pero que sin duda detrás de ese éxito estuvieron sus familiares”, les dijo.
Cabe mencionar que esta es la primera ocasión que el gobierno municipal recluta elementos conforme a derecho y a lo dispuesto por la Ley de Seguridad del Estado de México, ya que todos están certificados por el Centro de Control y Confianza y se capacitaron en la Universidad Mexiquense de Seguridad y Justicia, en donde recibieron el curso básico para policía preventiva municipal.
