Amecameca de Juárez, Estado de México a 31 de enero de 2020.-Tras reconocer la labor que realizan los titulares de los IMCUFIDE de la región, el Presidente Municipal Miguel Ángel Salomón Cortés manifestó su apoyo para la realización de más eventos deportivos que ayuden a fomentar buenos hábitos en los niños y coadyuven con la integración familiar.
Lo anterior durante la Primera Reunión de Directores de los IMCUFIDE de la Región Oriente integrada por Amecameca, Ayapango, Atlautla, Cocotitlán, Ecatzingo, Ozumba, Juchitepec, Tepetlixpa, Temamatla, Tlalmanalco y Chalco.
También estuvieron presentes Federico Lemus Vázquez, coordinador del Valle de México, Moisés Requena Eslava, presidente de la Asociación Mexicana de Atletismo y Pedro Chipolini Cejudo, coordinador regional zona oriente, quienes reconocieron al Edil amecamequense por considerar al deporte como una actividad fundamental para el buen desarrollo de hombres y mujeres.
Ahí mismo se convocó a todos los municipios a participar en los torneos de basquetbol 5×6, basquetbol 3×3, fútbol y voleibol de sala, que se realizarán con alumnos de nivel medio superior, en ramas femenil y varonil.
