Venta ilegal de bebidas alcohólicas disminuyó hasta un 90 por ciento.
Baja incidencia delictiva gracias a la implementación de células de vigilancia.
Como resultado de los operativos de seguridad de implementados durante la realización del Carnaval La Paz 2020, en la que participaron más de 60 comparsas de de charros tradicionales, quienes recorrieron las calles del centro de la localidad durante este fin de semana, las direcciones de Seguridad Ciudadana y Protección Civil y Bomberos de Gobierno Municipal reportaron saldo blanco.
Con la distribución estratégica de células de seguridad, la policía municipal registró que la incidencia delictiva disminuyó hasta en más del 70 por ciento en el número de denuncias por delitos del fuero común, como el robo en sus diferentes modalidades.
En este marco a través de la implementación de cuadrillas de vigilancia interinstitucionales, para la detección y retiro de establecimientos dedicados a la venta irregular de bebidas alcohólicas, se logró una disminución de hasta el 90 por ciento de esta actividad.
También se realizó el retiro de bienes mostrencos que impedían la libre circulación en las calles del primer cuadro del municipio de La Paz.
En fomento a la conservación de esta tradición, la Presidenta Municipal Olga Medina Serrano, encabezó la entrega de reconocimientos a cada una de las comparsas que participaron en este carnaval, a quienes además se les benefició con un apoyo económico para solventar parte de inversión que las diferentes familias realizan durante estos festejos.
