Por tercer año consecutivo Ixtapaluca sufre recortes en el presupuesto de egresos para el 2021; en el lapso de 2018 al 2020 se ha hecho un recorte de más del 45 por ciento afectando la realización de obras elementales para el desarrollo de las comunidades.
La alcaldesa Maricela Serrano calificó como un crimen la aprobación del presupuesto por parte de la mayoría morenista en la Cámara de Diputados ya que no han defendido los intereses del pueblo y han autorizado centralizar los recursos en el gobierno federal desprotegiendo a los municipios.
Expuso que del 100 por ciento del presupuesto que es dinero de todas y todos los mexicanos, el 85 por ciento lo va a disponer el Ejecutivo, el 12 por ciento irá a los estados y solo el 3 por ciento a los municipios. Ello afectará la realización de redes de drenaje, agua potable, pavimentaciones e infraestructura educativa, por mencionar solo algunas obras.
En cuanto a Ixtapaluca, explicó, en 2018 se recibían mil 976 millones de pesos y este año menos de 900 millones distribuidos en distintas participaciones, lo que demuestra cómo se ha ido reduciendo el presupuesto.
La edil Serrano Hernández comentó además que los recortes presupuestales afectarán proyectos de alto impacto y beneficio social como el puerto seco que generaría miles de empleos, así como la ampliación del metro a Chalco; ambos detenidos por esta falta de apoyo.
Lo que sí sucede, comentó, es que se privilegian proyectos hasta en un 200 por ciento más del presupuesto que tenían asignado el año pasado, como la refinería Dos Bocas y el aeropuerto de Santa Lucía.
Ante ello hizo un llamado a la población para que a través de redes sociales y en sus domicilios manifiesten su inconformidad contra estos recortes que afectan a las familias ixtapaluquenses.
