Desde que inició la pandemia y con el objetivo de evitar contagios por el virus SARS-CoV-2, la coordinación de Movilidad y Tránsito Municipal han llevado a cabo sanitizaciones en todas las bases y unidades, tanto de bicitaxis, mototaxis, taxis, como del transporte colectivo.
Además de la sanitización, a los usuarios se les entrega gel antibacterial, toma de la temperatura y se les proporcionan cubrebocas a quienes no lo porten.
La coordinadora de Movilidad, Isabel Olivares, detalló que en 2020 se llevaron a cabo 200 operativos, en los que se benefició a 2 millones de personas, aproximadamente. En cada operativo se sanitizan en promedio 45 a 60 unidades. En lo que va de este año, se ha llevado a cabo un operativo diario, en diferentes puntos.
Los operativos no llevan más de cinco minutos para evitar retraso al pasaje, pues mientras se sanitiza la unidad, también se hace la toma de temperatura y la entrega del gel antibacterial. Los operativos se realizan principalmente sobre la avenida Cuauhtémoc, desde Tlalpizáhuac; en bases de este municipio y en los que se ubican en los principales centros comerciales.
Los trabajos, comentó la coordinadora de Movilidad, están reforzados una vez por semana por la Secretaría de Movilidad del Estado de México, para revisar que las unidades cuenten con toda su documentación y exhortar a los choferes que usen el cubrebocas. En lo que va de este año se han llevado a cabo nueve operativos con la dependencia.
