Continuando con las medidas sanitarias para reducir el riesgo de contagios por COVID-19, personal de Protección Civil y Bomberos de Ixtapaluca, y la brigada Anti-COVID, realizan constantemente sanitizaciones en diferentes espacios públicos del municipio, así como transporte público.
Estas sanitizaciones se practican diariamente en tianguis, mercados, centros de salud, avenidas, calles, claustros, viviendas, negocios, plazas comerciales, bancos, cajeros, además de bases de transporte público, como taxis, combis, bici y moto taxis.
Las brigadas constan de entre 6 y 10 miembros, dependiendo del lugar al que se acuda, estas cuadrillas están equipadas con fumigadores y equipos especiales para realizar las sanitizaciones, las acciones que se realizan van desde toma de temperatura, aplicación de gel antibacterial, desinfección a personas y vehículos particulares, así como la entrega de trípticos con los teléfonos de emergencia.
Las sanitizaciones se realizan de forma permanente, y se harán las veces que sean necesarias hasta bajar la curva de contagios y se reciban las indicaciones para que las y los habitantes ixtapaluquenses puedan salir a la calle sin riesgo.
