Carolina Vázquez, regidora, destaca que se está impulsando en el municipio, en conjunto con el presidente municipal, el cuidado del medio ambiente y animales.
Lo anterior atiende a las necesidades de la localidad por empresas que vierten sus desechos en el drenaje, quema de hornos para cocimiento de ladrillos, etc., ya que las actuales mediciones del aire en Ixtapaluca son de mala calidad y por ello se requieren acciones que mejoren la calidad del aire y el medio ambiente en el municipio.
